Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods – season 3, episode 1 recipes

A fast and flavourful weeknight dinner!

I’m extremely happy to report that the third season of my cooking show has begun airing on Rogers Television (Channel 22 in Ottawa). You can find the schedule here and, per the same schedule, you can view it via Rogers’ ‘Watch Now’ online streaming service here. Episode 1 (and subsequent ones as well) can now be found on YouTube. We filmed 12 episodes last fall and one of the coolest things about this process was that two robotic cameras were used, minimizing the need for extra humans in my kitchen. There’s a big emphasis on vegetables and family-friendly fare this season, per the feedback I’d been getting from a lot of viewers as well as fans of this website. Episode one showcases one of my meal strategies when my kids were young was to take familiar ingredients and present them in a variety of ways. There are three dishes to broaden kids’ – and maybe even adults’ – culinary horizons. They’re all are easy to prepare and really delicious. Click on the titles below to access the recipes and happy cooking! Use the search bar on this site to find more delicious inspiration from my show.

Pizza-stuffed Portobello mushrooms

Roasted corn and avocado salad

Southern-style peach-blueberry cobbler
