Rice recipe roundup

From side dish to star of the show!

I grew up eating rice often, but it was a real epiphany when I learned that there was so much more to enjoy about rice than the blandness of Uncle Ben’s out of a box. I cook rice often now, sometimes as a main dish and sometimes as a side. I’ve also learned how to prepare brown rice that is soft and fluffy – the secret is toasting the raw rice in a broad pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes before cooking. Here are some of my favourite rice recipes; click on the titles to jump to each one.
