Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods season 4, episode 7 recipes

Deceptively simple desserts!

On my Rogers TV cooking show, I strive to present a variety of dishes to appeal to a broad range of flavour preferences and cooking abilities. Each episode features three recipes that are straightforward to prepare and don’t require a lot of hard-to-source ingredients. Essentially, the mission of the show is to help make your time in the kitchen as fun and successful as possible. If you’re not already watching Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods, you can find the Ottawa broadcast schedule here and, per the same schedule, you can view without cable TV via Rogers’ ‘Watch Now’ online streaming service here. Broadcast schedules for affiliated Rogers TV stations in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, London and Stratford can be found on those locations’ websites. Please note a full library of previous episodes is also available on YouTube and new episodes will be added to the playlist after they’ve initially aired on TV.

While my own tastes tend to run towards the savoury side of things, I certainly enjoy sweets from time to time so on this episode, I am sharing a couple of favourite dessert recipes. I love these ones as they provide a memorable finish to the meal yet don’t take a ridiculous amount of time or effort to prepare. Not only are these sweet treats impressive yet easy; you can even make them ahead of time. Click on the titles below to access the recipes and happy cooking!
