Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods season 4, episode 5 recipes

Show stopping salads!

For this episode, I wanted to show viewers how easy it is to make salad the star of the show. Too often in the past, salads were kind of an afterthought; just a hastily-assembled side dish offered to try to pack a little more nutrition into a meal. Instead of a bowl of greens with a few accessories, I’m showcasing three options that are colourful, nutritious and extremely delicious as well.

If you’re not already a fan of my Rogers TV cooking show, now in its fourth season, I hope you can tune in (find the Ottawa broadcast schedule here and, per the same schedule, you can view without cable TV via Rogers’ ‘Watch Now’ online streaming service here). Broadcast schedules for affiliated Rogers TV stations in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, London and Stratford can be found on those locations’ websites. Please note a full library of previous episodes is also available on YouTube and new episodes will be added to the playlist after they’ve initially aired on TV.
