Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods season 4, episode 3 recipes

Flavourful, versatile sidekicks!

Well, season 4 is rolling out nicely, thanks to the great team at Rogers TV. It’s very exciting that the show is going into syndication now and is being shown in Ottawa, where it’s filmed, and also launching soon in the Kitchener-Waterloo region as well as London, Ontario. If you want to tune in (find the broadcast schedule for Ottawa here and, per the same schedule, you can view without cable TV via Rogers’ ‘Watch Now’ online streaming service here). Broadcast schedules for affiliated Rogers TV stations in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, London and Stratford can be found on those locations’ websites. Please note a full library of previous episodes is also available on YouTube and new episodes will be added to the playlist after they’ve initially aired on TV.

The inspiration for this week’s episode came from the many cooking classes I’ve taught over the years, in addition to frequent feedback on my regular TV appearances. I learned that for many home cooks, finding creative side dishes to accompany their favourite proteins seems to be a constant challenge. I am happy to share three delicious dishes that can add a big pop of flavour and nutrition to many different menus. Click on the titles below to access the recipes and happy cooking!
