Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods season 4, episode 2 recipes

Healthy and fun lunch options!

Despite this being the fourth season of my cooking show, I still get both nervous and excited each time a new episode drops. The journey from when a new recipe starts to percolate in my mind to when I am preparing it in front of the cameras is a long one, but mostly a lot of fun. I hope you can tune in (find the Ottawa broadcast schedule here and, per the same schedule, you can view online without cable TV via Rogers’ ‘Watch Now’ streaming service). Broadcast schedules for affiliated Rogers TV stations in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, London and Stratford can be found on those locations’ websites. Please note a full library of previous episodes is also available on YouTube and new episodes will be added to the playlist after they’ve initially aired on TV.

For this episode, I wanted to focus on some fresh and flavourful lunch ideas. Whether you eat lunch at home most days or are looking for packable items to transport to school or work, you’re probably often looking for tasty and nutritious new items to avoid falling into a lunchtime rut. I’ve got three super ideas that will appeal to all ages and they’re as healthy as they are delicious! Click on the titles below to access the recipes and happy cooking!
