Globally-inspired dishes!

Episode 5 of season 3 of my show was released on March 7, 2022 on Rogers Television (Channel 22 in Ottawa) – find the broadcast schedule here and, per the same schedule you can view it via Rogers’ ‘Watch Now’ online streaming service here or find it on YouTube within a few days of its first airing. For this episode, I wanted to present a collection of dishes that showcase three popular international flavour profiles as when I am creating new recipes, I often include elements from a variety of global cuisines. I like describing my dishes as “inspired by” a certain region (because they are not always 100% authentic to that cuisine). I hope you’ll find the dishes I am going to showcase in today’s episode serve as a good introduction to or reminder of some of the foods you may have enjoyed on your travels or in ethnic restaurants closer to home.
