Next stop on our culinary tour: Central Canada!
Have you heard? Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods is back with fresh new episodes this summer, airing multiple times each week on Rogers Television in Ottawa. In honour of Canada’s 150th birthday, these new shows take you on a delicious culinary journey across Canada. This week’s show pays tribute to the hard working farmers of Ontario and Quebec; it’s appropriate because farm-fresh produce is what inspires a lot of my recipe development work. We’re lucky to have a lot of farmers all across Canada – in fact, there are over 1200 farms within Ottawa’s city limits alone! If you find these recipes appealing, I encourage you to please check the Constantly Cooking archives (just search on Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods’) to see recipes from all the show’s episodes plus a whole lot more delicious inspiration!
Here are the recipes for this week (click on the titles to access the recipes):
Raspberry-Mint Lime Rickey Cocktail or Mocktail
Crunchy Curried Cauliflower Pickles
Sausage and Vegetable Bake
