Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods – season 1, episode 8 recipes

Love your leftovers with these creative recipes!

Something funny (as in funny but good, not funny ha-ha) happened to me this morning. I was sipping my tea, skim-reading the newspaper and thinking about what I wanted to cook today. As I composed a mental grocery list, I turned to the last page of one of the sections of the paper and something caught my eye. There – in the TV listings – was MY NAME! Somehow this moment made the adventure of creating my own cooking show seem somehow more real and tangible and exciting. I call this episode “Love Your Leftovers” because too often we just serve up the same meal several days in a row until it’s all gone, and that can get a little tedious. In this show, I present three great ideas to transform leftovers from dull to delightful, by using them as a base to create spectacularly delicious new dishes. In fact, these recipes are so tasty, you’re going to want to adjust your cooking just to be sure you have leftovers on hand. If these recipes are appealing, be sure to check the Constantly Cooking archives (just search on Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods) to see recipes from all the show’s episodes plus a whole lot more delicious inspiration!
