Paula Roy’s Favourite Foods season 4, episode 6 recipes

Say cheese!

I’m so delighted with the reception this season of my Rogers TV cooking show is getting from viewers in the Ottawa, London, Guelph, Stratford, Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo regions. It’s great to receive comments and questions (use the contact form on this site to reach me) and I will, as always, endeavour to answer every message promptly. If you’re interested in tuning in, you can find the Ottawa broadcast schedule here and, per the same schedule, you can view without cable TV via Rogers’ ‘Watch Now’ online streaming service here. Each Rogers affiliate’s broadcast schedule can be found on their respective sites. Please note a full library of previous episodes is also available on YouTube and new episodes will be added to the playlist after they’ve aired on TV.

This episode’s recipes draw on something which has been a great source of inspiration to me as I continue to work on developing new recipes: watching the Canadian cheese industry grow and diversify. Over the past decade or so, cheesemakers across the country have been winning numerous accolades and awards and Canadian cheeses are now featured prominently on many restaurant menus. As a big fan of all kinds of cheese, I love incorporating it into many dishes, including the three featured on this episode. Click on the titles below to access the recipes and happy cooking!
